Zac Posen’s business and survival mode

Zac Posen has emerged over the years as someone who has become a darling of the red-carpet brigade. This fast rise seems to have affected his ego and this is something he admits himself. While this may not always be ideal there could be some amazing things that this forces him to do sometimes. This was when he was at the 100th anniversary of Cartier and at a dinner when he chanced to meet up with Glenda Bailey from Harper’s Bazaar. There were quite a few more editors from various fashion magazines but what was surprising is that Zac sat down next to Glenda and even asked here as to why her magazine seemed to be ignoring and demeaning his work. The real cause was that he was irked that while the magazine did not feature his work, they wanted him to pose in a picture with some fashion designers with characters from Sesame Street, which he felt was quite below his dignity. This, from someone whose business is in ‘survival mode’.

Yes, it is true that Zac Posen has himself admitted that his business has gone into survival mode. What survival mode means is that it is barely able to keep the wolves away from the door and shutting down, where two of his top employees abandoned ship and the media also had a gala time reporting it.
