Things to do on a Chicago visit

There are so many things to do in Chicago that you will not have much of a dull moment. There is now a new pedestrian bridge which links the Millennium Park to the Art Institute. This is known as the Nichols Bridgeway and has quite a few interesting elements that you may like to check out. The views of the inimitable Lake Michigan as well as Jay Pritzker Pavilion will meet your hungry eyes. You can spend a lot of time at the bridge, gaping in and dinking in the wonderful sights that the bridge so readily affords. You can spend time in the Art Institute where you can see 20^th and 21^st century works of art sprawled all around the place.

Then you have the Museum of Contemporary Art where the exhibit Constellations is catching a lot of interest from viewers and art lovers. There are works of as many as 18 artists in the Constellations which should help you spend quite a few happy hours, if you are an art lover. You can also amble along to the newly reopened Spertus Museum which is Jewish art and culture museum. It also has an interactive children’s center which is quite delightful to mention the least.

What to do while in Merida

When you are in Merida, it makes sense for you to get to Centro Hostorico and that too on Sundays, because that is when the traffic is much less. There is a lot of see and do here, because this is where the history of Merida is ensconced. You will be able to guess what was there in the past and also get a sense of how the city has got metamorphosed over the years. You can enjoy an outdoor food market that also doubles up as a craft mart, with a number of artifacts and a lot of stuff for you to see and buy too. There is also a flea market in Santa Lucia Park and you can easily buy so many souvenirs in the shops there, including linen button downs that men can savor or perhaps embroidered dresses that women would just love.

As far as activity goes, you can swim in the underground lagoons in Cuzama. This is a delightful village that has thatched mud huts. The Bolonchohol is a place that has limpid pools for snorkeling and swimming and at a place called Chacsinicche, it is possible to dive like a swan from a pier into the waters below.

If you want to have the time of your life, you would do well to get to Austin, Texas. This is the place where you can visit the legendary Lance Armstrong’s one stop bike shop which is known as Mellow Johnny’s. here you can get everything from rentals, bike valets and also commuter showers. Those who love bikes and biking would surely know where to go now. There is much more to Austin than just bikes. You can also get to Hill Country, which is a great terrain for riding just outside the city limits. You should go out in Sunday much early in the morning, so as to avoid church traffic, and you can also enjoy great food in terms of frontera fundito and also fresh squeezed oranges that can make your day much more enjoyable, any day.

Another thing to check out at Austin is the divergent bike scene. There are so many bikers of very hue that you can band in with birds of the same feather as you. There is always so much about camaraderie of bikers and also the warmth and oneness that you will not readily get elsewhere. It seems like you would not like to get back from Austin in a hurry.
