1. What is your most alluring feature?

Some people may automatically think it has to be the bust line, hips, legs, or waist, but that isn’t necessarily true. A long, lovely neck can be as alluring as any other part of your body, especially if the proper attention is drawn to it. So, avoid turtlenecks and high collars, and focus on clothing that displays your neck. This can be as simple as wearing scoop-neck or slightly plunging necklines, or wearing a necklace that draws the eyes upward to your neck.

Arms can be alluring, too. When she starred in the “Terminator” movies, Linda Hamilton once said that people were always asking her how she got her arms so toned. Michelle Obama brought this to the forefront again when she displayed her beautifully toned arms.

If you have toned or otherwise shapely arms, show them off. Wear tight sleeves or go sleeveless as often as possible.

Think about other body parts, too. What about your hands or your feet? Are they especially shapely? If so, they too can help you project your allure. Choose rings and bracelets for your wrists and hands, and shoes that flatter your already beautiful feet.

2. Are you wearing the right colors?

Your look of allure in your clothing style will be totally ruined if you are wearing colors that do not match your skin tones and hair color. For instance, yellows can make naturally dark or olive skin look sallow, while black may make blond hair look brassier instead of bright. Redheads already know that they have to be careful; however, some redheads get hung up on what colors they shouldn’t wear. If a color accentuates your features and does look good on you, don’t worry if it’s considered a no-no for redheads.

While we’re on the subject of color no-no’s, a person also shouldn’t get hung up on which “season” they are and whether they are a warm or cool color person. Again, if it looks good, and gives positive accentuation, wear it, no matter what color it is.

3. Is your style truly alluring, or are you teetering close to the edge of tastelessness, tackiness, trashiness, or other negative connotations?

As with just about everything else, less is more. If your clothing is too tight, too low, too short, or generally fits in one of the categories mentioned above, you’re not going to allure anyone (that is, anyone you would want to be seen with).

Take a good look at your clothing style, and see exactly what image you project. Then work on any areas that need it, so that you will allure others with your clothing style.

If you have earrings on fishhooks, you can hang them on just about anything. You can go to a craft store and get a bunch of metal ringlets, link them together, and stretch the ringlets across a wall. Then, you can hang your earrings on these ringlets, displaying your pieces when you’re not wearing them. You can find old necktie holders at a thrift store and use them to hang your necklaces on. Coat racks could also hold large necklaces, and provides a unique piece of furniture in your bedroom.

Take the glass out of a picture frame and replace it cork board. You can then screw small hooks into the cork board and use it to hang anything you want. The same idea applies to studded earrings, but you should use a large piece of felt or fabric instead. If some of your more decorative jewelry demands attention, you can display it as a living space accessory like you would a lamp or painting. Placing a pair of ornate earrings next to a lamp in your bedroom can be a unique way to liven up a dull end table. It’s also a clever way to bring femininity into your bedroom rather than fluffy pillows or floral patterns. Storing your jewelry in an open setting allows the pieces to be appreciated even if you’re not wearing them at that particular moment.
