If skiing is your passion, you need not spend a fortune. Rather, you can ski after dark at the Summit at Snoqualmie, which has as many as 54 night trails. The evening lift passed also cost $20 less that passes available in the daytime. You can also participate in the carpooling program to save money on travel.  Getting away for your weekend getaway to Seattle means that you do not have to spend the moon.
