Hidden things, best not seen
There are some hidden things that are best not seen. Certainly not when you are taking people around to look at a flat and then you stumble on hidden things that were not seen earlier. It could so happen that these things could be a major put off and you may lose precious clients. Take the case of a couple who were being shown around a still occupied flat, that would get empty in a few days. Everything went fine, till they came to the desktop monitor with hardcore porn images still splashed all over it. The prospective renters immediately begged to be excused and bolted, never to be heard from again.
There are other hidden things that can be huge put-offs like unwashed clothes in the closet, an extremely dirty toilet or perhaps dead plants and unmade beds. Some of these are not even hidden, like hideous pieces of art and things like Republican memorabilia, which may be too much for some to digest. This is why it is necessary that when you are showing houses around, there are some things that should remain as hidden things. If they get exposed, your whole deal could be in big trouble, which, frankly, is totally avoidable.
