There is a war of a different king going on in the world of actresses. This time its for the simultaneous release of fragrances by Jenifer Lopez and Halle berry together that is drawing the fireworks from both sides. Although Jeniffer Lopez has already released some record setting fragrances, and has sold more than $1 billion worth of fragrances since 2002 with the launch of 6 different fragrances, this year it’s going to be slightly harder than usual with Halle Berry also releasing her third perfume at the same time. The new scent form JLo called Love and Glamour is predicted to get around $150 million in 2010 and the fragrance from Halle berry Reveal is predicted to earn at least $100 million in sales. The perfume from Halle Berry is supposed to be different from the older perfumes since this one is after pregnancy and defines the changed tastes of the actress.
The advertisements are the biggest reason these perfumes sell and they are already out with Halle Berry hiding herself in the dark and Jenifer Lopez looking 20 years younger because of photo shopping. But only time will tell how successful these fragrances will be and if they will give birth to more fragrances from these actresses.
