Fashion Clothing and Madonna? What’s the Latest?
There is something abuzz in the air. It seems that Madonna is planning to start her own fashion clothing line. And it is said that this could be for Macy’s. Well, this is all in the realm of speculation as of now, but then if someone like Madonna were to get into the fashion clothing business, you can bet that the response will be nothing less than manic. Madonna, the diva, is quite the icon of fashion and style, someone who personifies class itself. It is reported that this fashion clothing line will come along with the licensees of Iconix. Iconix is indeed an iconic marketing entity that had brought the brilliance of the marketing campaign of Candie’s which had featured none less than Britney Spears.
Madonna had one other stint with fashion clothing, which was as a one-off for H&M. at that point in time, H&M executive were at pains to explain and boast as to how she was involved to the last button and lapel of her dresses. Well, if she was really so involved, one wonders as to why it was just a one-off. Well, maybe the involvement was so great, that being involved long term could have drained both H&M and Madonna out, totally.
