Some people may automatically think it has to be the bust line, hips, legs, or waist, but that isn’t necessarily true. A long, lovely neck can be as alluring as any other part of your body, especially if the proper attention is drawn to it. Dom Cobb specializes in getting inside the subconscious of the people while they are asleep and finding out their dark corporate secrets. His latest client, Saito, does not want him to do anything like that. On the contrary, he wants Cobb to place an idea in the head of her business rival. This is the story of the film “Inception” directed by Christopher Nolan. Dom Cobb is none other than Leonardo DiCaprio while Ken Watanabe plays Saito.

It is more difficult to place an idea rather than taking one out as the mind of the subject is already aware of the idea that is there. Cobb is obliged to take this case in to consideration as Saito is powerful enough to make one phone call to make all the legal problems disappear in the air. Cobb is also forced to take the case as he craves to see both his kids in the US. He is incapable of going back there due to a crime which would be revealed later on.

Christopher Nolan runs his mind with dry reasons instead of moist emotions while writing the script for the film. The idea that moves the film is that one can have a dream in a dream. Lee Smith’s flamboyant work as the editor of “Inception” may push him for a direct entry to this year’s academy awards. However, Nolan fails to convert the movie about dreams in to a dream movie because of the lack of emotion in the process. It is more literary than humane. The mood of the film is so somber that even a smile on the audience seems a lot to expect.

Todd Solondz, the 50 year old filmmaker who made the black comedy ‘Happiness’ in 1998, resides in a village. He has got an apartment with one bedroom. This apartment is however opportune to NYU. He started his full time teaching about a year back in NYU.

He does not find himself suitable enough to be a role-model to anyone who is trying to have a career in films.  Pleasure is a complicated idea for Solondz who does not enjoy normal pleasure needs. His latest film, ‘Life During Wartime’, is a continuation of his comical disillusionment. He does not call his a career but a “quasi-career”. Filmmakers often provide their viewers such characters which the viewers find easy to identify with, get sympathized with and, sometimes, condemn to. Solondz does not possess any of these in his films. He calls himself a loser who came out as a winner. That’s the charm of Hollywood, he says.

He makes comic movies which in a way make the viewers feel more uncomfortable. His characters are unassumingly unconventional. They detest rules and establishment at every given opportunity, and sometimes even when they are not given the opportunity to do so. His latest movie is set in primarily Florida and it has a fresh cast to flaunt. The very first shot in the film is shot, he says, exactly the way Happiness was done. It makes the audience feel more confident about the film as if they know what is going to be done next.

Now the public’s view of dating model and the stock trader’s view of dating models sometimes contradicts. Hence,  it was no surprise that most of the traders and stock brokers took the time off to attend the open street fashion show instead of focusing on foreign markets. This fashion show did not disappoint those eager for  exciting events such as  shooting of Mario Sorrenti’s Express Denim campaign and the launch of the new fragrance by Jessica Stam. During this premiere fashion event, a 75 foot Express billboard was mounted on top of the iconic Wall Street Bull on the NYSE façade which featured Michael Camiloto with dual company. This was the first time in ten years that this area has been used for a fashion show, the last being by Isaac Mizrahi. With all these beautiful models at their place of business, how could these poor stock trader not imagine dating these sexy women.

This is one of the main reasons why the city has told experts to come up with new plans to save the city as the water rises, in a few years. The very first thing that they plan to do is to build a large wall all around the island city. When this happens, it would be easy to keep the waves out, as and when the water rises. Apart from this, there would be other secondary plans to create a new buildings and localities to be protected from the rising water. All of these plans have to be decided upon and implemented in the next few years so that the city can be saved when the water rises.
